thebees
Newsbot has been at the powder, it appears to be most concerned with this report. Further to wondering why Douglas corporation business is not reported in the local press, I am also wondering why items like, drug busts, burglaries and other uneventful 'social' events (bins being set on fire etc etc) are considered so news worthy? I couldn't care less about drug busts and the majority of people do not know (or care to know) the people the reports are about, so why all the fuss? Mr. Sausages
It's because the three BBC staff members based on the island can't be arsed doing any work, so they just copy and paste government press releases onto their website. Newsbot only tells us what the government want us to know, whether it's newsworthy or not.
Albert Tatlock
I couldn't care less about drug busts and the majority of people do not know (or care to know) the people the reports are about, so why all the fuss? I haven't known anyone in the news for decades, they're all strangers these days, even that Gordon Broon bloke gets a load of coverage and I don't know him either. I think you're right - I thought about complaining about it, but didn't know any of the news people to write too either.
