Very spooky but over 20 years ago (1981 we think), our Spaniel 'Sam' decided to chase a rabbit off the edge of the Marine Drive cliffs, back then of course the coastguard comprised of a couple of semi retired old gits with a Morris Marina van, a steel peg, a lump of old rope and a rotten hessian sack. Suffice to say it was my dad that climbed down to daft Sammie, got him in the sack and started climbing back up, the arse fell out of the sack, and dad appeared at the top clinging onto said stupid canine by the scruff of his neck.
