jehovah
Need a built in electric oven, my boys are starving due to lack of chips as they've broken the oven. Or someone to fix it, only the element gone, I've checked.
Overdose
Give Auldyn Electrics (or Electrical, can't remember) a call, he's recently fixed out oven and has repaired a tumble dryer for us too. Highly recommended and not expensive either.
John
there is a shop in douglas that may be able to repair rather than replace, used to be on Windsor Rd. Douglas Appliance Shop I think it was called Also there is a guy that comes and repairs things, he fixed my tumbler and not had a trouble in 2 years, far cheaper than buying a new one ! His wife works at Aldrige Audio, so they should have his number
dooahhdoo
I did mine myself before Christmas. Only took 30 mins. Order from Element Replacement. Make sure you Isolate your cooker both by the fusebox (most probably a 32amp fuse) and by the switch on the wall. When done turn the oven and rings on. Nothing should happen, no lights, noise anything. Double check. You can then remove the plate inside or round the back of the oven and replace the element. Disclaimer. If you attempt this and electrocute yourself I cannot be held at all responsible. If in doubt seek advice from a qualified electrician (which I am not).
