Deejay Denzel Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 What was that area at the back of the 'solarium' (after the fire) which is next to the stairs to the toilets and the entrance to the cinema, was it a cafe? I believe the cinema and what you say was a cafe in later years was originally the marquee showbar. I have been helping Ian Phillips with his research on the place and managed to map out the recent piazza level over the original plans (pre fire) before they demolished the place. The plans are featured within his published research online. The original plans, I have at my mum's house, must publish them to the site at some point.
