Tempus Fugit
there was a chap on a job over here years ago who was very amused that the MEA showrooms sold candles Castle street all went black for a couple of minutes (seemed like that but was probably less as you try to get your bearings)

P.R.O.P
God the guy doing that demolition is about as much use as a stoker on a horse tram he`s a bloody legend. There has never been a job that they have not hit some sort of service.

Deejay Denzel
It just so happens that our music play-out software was in the middle of doing a database update when it all went off, normally not a problem but on this occasion it got upset and wouldn't reload. it then mean't 2 hours of manually re-writing part of the database coding and presenters having to resort to ye old CD. The power here went off for about 30 seconds, but going on the texts I was recieving from Snaefell (91.2)... looked like our transmitter up there had a few interuptions which may have affected our Jurby (93.4), Maughold (105.2) & Ramsey (98.4) Transmitters. bloody 8pm before I got to leave work! Deejay Denzel
it was an admin machine in the general office that was adding to the database at the time, The server and studios are on back-up but the general office isn't. Under normal circumstances it would have run normally right through. I was just on my way out the building when it happened!
