The problem/fear is that it will simply be a copy of the changes that have virtually destroyed even any appearance of civilisation in the UK. I think you are getting confused in your old age. Its a matter of scale. There are more people across so change is going to be more wide spread And lets face it, as the latest county to join the UK, the IOM is no different than any other in the UK.
