Pragmatopian
Is he deliberately trying to avoid reelection? Some guesses as to his next move: Houghton steals candy from baby, tells him that santa isn't real. Houghton sends letter written in excrement to each constitutent saying "I hate you." T.I.N.G.
Too right, classic case of abuse of position. Lose the argument, lose the position.
%age
I think John - and I speak from personal knowledge having spoken to him on a Parliamentary matter - is rather thick. Thick as fuck.
tiger lily
If one agree with Mr Houghton or no, he has perfec rite to exprees opinion on society and sexuality and way people talk to him as govenment employer representiv. Declan
His resignation has nothing to do with transexuals, he's resigned because his position in this role was completely untenable since the employee's side wouldn't deal with him after he made a frivolous complaint to the police about something one of them had said to him. He somehow managed to keep two controversies going at once. And just as he appeared to brazen one out the other snuck up and bit him.

Trying to make their messages look like their from a retarded teenager yet filling in their comments with phrases like 'if one agree Yup - I sussed that too. The spelling mistakes are typical of a native speaker of English rather than a non-native speaker's and do not reflect unfamiliarity with English phonemes. The cultural references and idiomatic use of prepositions are native speaker level as well.
