GD4ELI
I do hope they're proud of themselves. Low life scum. Hang 'em high, very high. Doubt the Ramsey plod will find the villains unless the villains do something daft (probably to be expected).
thebees
Maybe they did not realise the man was so in need of it and will return it.
Freggyragh
I'm really angry about this. I know Ian as an excellent Manx speaker, but he is better known for his ten (at least) paralympic medals. Ian is a real inspirational person who has been able to achieve so much. The morons who did this are truly disabled - emotionally. I hope they get caught and put away asap.

Blacksheep
Whoever did this will have no idea just how much hassle will be involved in trying to locate specialist equipment again, not to mention having to re-configure everything. And how cruel, low down and callous to break someone's glasses as well. They would obviously look like specialist glasses too. Cruel and sad people. thebees
Someone must know who it was, Ramsey isn't the biggest of places, the equipment is specialised so I really would hope someone would poke the crooks conscience. Nicking a computer is bad enough but if you nicked one of great value to its owner but little value to you it's pointless, maybe offer a reward for its return? I know it might be seen to be encouraging theft but it would be better to solve the problem than punish the criminal in this situation. The report is a bit vague on how many computers were stolen or the type (who would want a dell?) it might help if people knew what to look out for. La_Dolce_Vita
I can't believe there are people who can do things like this. As well as the theft, why would you smash someone's glasses? How can someone be so cold and angry that they would want to do this.

I suppose I can understand if they are pissed and have a lack of consideration because of its effects but even if you had one shred of empathy or understanding you would not do something like this. Fossils
I do hope they're proud of themselves. Low life scum. Equally sharing the blame are those that know the scum that did this and/or those who witnessed the scum doing it, or dealing with their loot. Until they have shopped them they are an even lower form of life. This Island is suffering increasingly from the disease that is crippling communities in the UK and elsewhere - APATHY. The thieves, rogues and vandals could all be controlled if the whole community was prepared to object to them. Sadly, the growing minority of spineless wimps is allowing the disease to take hold here.
