Albert Tatlock
Oooooh and a new mezzanine floor. I wonder what the Jones' will thunk about that! I also heard they are putting up a mezzanine at the Tesco Douglas store for electrical goods. Very old news. MF always has the 'firsts'
Dave Hedgehog
Well that has well and truly bollocksed up the moving up by B&Q rumours hasn't it. Hope they have a nice big electrical section
slinkydevil
It's a pity the mezzanine floor means they will raise the roof. I'd prefer the ceiling to be as high as the width of the aisles so I can feel even more boxed in and add some extra stress to my shopping. Typical. Though it will be fun throwing off the occasional couple of yackers, who seem to prefer stopping instead of shopping.

Slim
Who cares? Tesco's smells. Agreed. Not really new jobs are they? Just transfers from the local businesses that will be destroyed by this expansion.
keyboarder
Victoria Road Shoprite has a mezzanine. They don't seem to know what to do with it though.
Slim
Victoria Road Shoprite has a mezzanine. They don't seem to know what to do with it though. They have some strage ideas at shoprite. Remember the pizza takeaway they did at one point? Order a pizza, and have it ready at the end of your shop! Except, when you shop you've got to go home and put all your shopping away, and then your pizza's gone cold...
Skig
Victoria Road Shoprite has a mezzanine. They don't seem to know what to do with it though. Shoprite dont seem to know what to do full stop. Who in their right mind would reopen the old winerite as a gormet shop when its only a short distance from the Victoria road or Chester street stores? Why not make use of the existing mezzanine at Victoria road? How long before they sell out to one of Tescos rivals?
The Godfather of Manx House
Shoprite. Anagram of "Pro Shite". Tries to be all things to all men and fails miserably on almost every front. I mean, what's with that "Tchaibo" range of tat ? Roll on a n Uber-Tescos ... ...GOMH*...
