Maybe this kind of law would act as a deterrent, actually I like it, I like it a lot, might put a stop to domestic violence and other such like violent crimes. I think that the man deserves this, but I think this sort of episode reflects some nasty cultural aspects stemming from male domination over women. I should not have said 'deserves'. Should have thought that one through.
