It's also on the Government website:

Children consulted over blueprint for their future

‘Children have a strong sense of their own place in society and of what improvements they would like to be made to the way we run services for them,’

What a load of twaddle. Asking kids to help formulate a policy to, er, supervise kids? The looneys are running the bin

The Island’s Youth Service has set up a series of focus groups at which up to 15 children and young people at a time are discussing the ‘five outcomes’, on a confidential basis, with the agreement of their parents and carers.

Anyone know what this means?

Young people on the Isle of Man are being consulted over government plans to improve support services for families and children.

This sounds like a good idea. As 'consumers' they should have say. They can tell the DHSS how it seems from their point of view.

Older people should be consulted about the services that are prvided for them

And disabled people should alos be consulted.

Otherwise departments run the risk of being run for the convenience of the staff not their 'customers'

We all need to shout louder.
