1.7m down 180k up from speedtest.

I would like to see what 100 of our forums members get so we can do an average to see how much smoke is really being blown up our bandwidth.

ADSL in Bristol. Crappy line, loads of extensions/splitters, all PC's going through WPA wifi.

(up to) 8Mb down/1Mb up unmetered, £19.95/month, including phone line & unmetered landline calls.

20Mb Virgin fibre available here, £30/month, or (up to) 50Mb for £50/month.

Speedtest aggregate their results by region, although Douglas is the one in South Larnarkshire, although it's easy to recognize the local ISPs.

It gives a fair indication although the upload is higher then you'd expect from ADSL so its possible there's a mix of connections in there. I'd also expect the majority of people only to use a Speedtest when they suspect a problem, those with 6/7Mbps have no reason to test their speed.
