Barley wine.

How many trips down slippery slopes has that shite launched?

OOI Is the crap still made?

Still made and very nice. Me and mine used to put a bottle into a two litre cider bottle and mix it, lovely times!

I think it's still a crime to buy alcohol for minors, what lesson does that teach them I wonder?

Hard to beat a Bomber.

they should be taught by the Mad dog 20/20 method, locked in a room with a case of said product and left to deal with the aftermath without the use of hangover cures

Okells brewed barley wine used to be called "No 1". A "Number one over" was a sure way of augmenting Okells bitter with a kick.

You can still buy a barley wine in some pubs - now named "Gold Label" and about 10% proof.

Lots of money has been spent on this Drugs and Alcohol Strategy but I'm not sure it has produced any value for money results.

They seem to spend a lot of time going round to conferences and spouting lots of figures.

What tangible resuts have been achieved?
