Will the lead singer urge us all to campaign for third-world debt relief and all the other noble causes the real Saint Bono espouses?

:( What a load of shite, they've booked bands to cover a variety of age groups and tastes but completely forgot about anyone interested in the current music scene. How hard would it have been to book one of the many indie bands touring the universities or a decent DJ for a night?

It's as if they don't realise that the majority of TT visitors nowadays are 20-35 year olds on modern bikes not 40-50year old chopper riders.

What an embarrassment that line up is I hope the ticket price will be as low as the quality of the acts. I had thought that when Whitesnake was announced it would only get better but should have known the Government would screw it up.

If that is the best they could come up with the PBF organisers must be pissing themselves laughing.

Maybe the PBF announcement will be ‘Ha Ha that’s shitter than our line up was’

Pah!

Ah piss.

I reckon the lineups pretty good. Notoriously hard audience to please, so booking the Pipers is an inspired choice.

I fucking hate tribute bands, with one exception.

Mercury

Queen tribute band, and absolutely fucking awesome. This sort of thing appeals to everyone, young and old.

A giant bunch of wank!

I think we have a good case if we sue over the use of the term "Entertainment".

Who do you think they should have booked?

I am with one of the earlier posters who said that maybe they could have booked at least one of the smaller Indie bands. Plus maybe some of the lesser known rock bands. A night of two or three good original relatively unknown rock bands is much better value than a tribute band. Ok so the PBF was way to expensive and over ambitious but there must be a half way house between that and this.

This line us is lazy, cheap, and totally lacking in imagination.
