ykstarr
have you tried re-homing him through ard jekyll - they will perform home checks to ensure that he receives a good home and he will also be neutered through them as well.
Anna-Marie
Good idea go to ard jekyll they will make sure that pets find good owners as they do all home checks first and they will make sure that the pets find good homes.
Rhumsaa
definitely go for a proper re-homing... I'd love cats again but I can't look after them currently

Why take the creature on in the first place? People should never take pets unless they can guarantee their future. I do not know your circumstances so please explain a bit further, and no disrespect intended. If Ard Jerkyl cannot help then phone Mann Cat Sanctuary 824195. Between them both they may be able to help. I hope you get a solution and wish you well.
Rhumsaa
I thought Mann Cat Sanctuary kept the cats and didn't re-home?

kite
shamus is right iresponsible to take on a pup if your future is so in doubt you decide to get rid of it a few months later. thought Mann Cat Sanctuary kept the cats and didn't re-home? they only keep cats that are unsuitable for rehoming. bring them to the mspca, they will make sure they are homed with someone a bit more responsible this time, poor sods
2005
peoples situations change!!!!! we had cats for 14 years and a gorgeous dog for 7 years, Unfortunately my mum died a year and a half ago so circumstances meant we couldn't look after them unless you know everything about the situation don't give an opinion
kite
people who get rid of their pets like they are unwanted kettles when they move house are not suitable responsible owners, simple as and advertsing them on a forum is more evidense still
2005
so a suitable responsible owner, even if they can't look after there animals properly, should keep them. rather then making sure they get a better home where they can be properly looked after??? Bill Posters
unless you know everything about the situation don't give an opinion mad.gif Agreed. I think it's wrong to criticise under these circumstances. After all, an irresponsible owner would not have posted on here seeking suitable homes.
