cheesypeas Posted May 9, 2009 Share Posted May 9, 2009 I might be being nostalgic and romanticising over the 'old boats' but I have to say the restaurants on the old boats, with their nice cutlery, plates and service were far better than the 'J'wan chicshken ding? or Liseareria wiff dat?' followed by microwaved dog food. I HATE the steam packet food, it is dire. There was nothing 'romantic' about a nine hour passage from Liverpool to Peel (pre stabits and unable to get into Douglas harbour).
