jaybs Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 It is good news that the two day trips from Fleetwood to Douglas in June and August were quickly fully booked up, it is just unfortunate if there is this demand it is being only kept to two sailings so far. What disappoints me is I have friends who have never visited the IOM and they wanted to take a day trip to help them consider booking an holiday, they live nearer to Liverpool, but there are no planned sailings but where willing to travel to Fleetwood, they contacted the Steam Packet to ask about stand by only to be told keep checking back by phone, after doing this sales just seemed lost what to say or do??? On a lighter note.....Have you ever seen what a boat load of 'Fleetwood-ites' looks like? I'm pretty sure the day trips coincide with the local nut-houses day off.
