Phil Gawne, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, said: "The public can play their part in preventing the spread of invasive species in the island by ensuring that they do not buy known invasive aquatic species from garden centres and by responsible disposal of garden waste that may contain potentially invasive species."

 

 

or there again phil you could just stop the importation of said species into the island .. just a simple mans view ..

 

when will you comeovers ever learn ffs we like our countryside as it is thanks..

lmao, so what are the DAFF gonna do about the hectares of Japanese Knotweed they allow to grow all around the Island (Tromode river is riddled with the stuff).
