Declan
Wha? Minister for Transport David Anderson said: "We would like to remind motorists to take extra care on the Mountain road when it reopens as a two-road road." Aye? Mountain Road, which has been used as the race route, is to reopen on Monday but will remain one-way until 1000 BST for organisers to remove equipment. Ahh - The TT motorcycle races are a time-trial event held on public roads on the island. Each year thousands of people visit the island for the two-week sporting festival. Before the event residents complained about closing roads earlier to facilitate practice time for competitors. I like the bit explaining what the TT races are, just in case any interested enough in road closures on the Isle of Man is unaware of the races.
