Slim
That's just bad BBC journalism. The Police only released public road accidents, on which there was the roadsweeper death. They have lumped in the TT race death as if that were part of the figures. Bad journalism. Ah fair enough. Whoever writes that tripe for the BBC shouldn't be paid for it. malebrain
]figures are up on last year There were five hundred more bikes than last year. not to mention the countless number of bikes brought over in the back of vans. If all of those bikes went round the circuit only once a day that would equate to 7000 circuits over the two week period. Take that into account then an extra 16 crashes isn't so bad. RC-Drift.com
Hey it was so safe this year, WTF don't we have one-way all year round and drive like twats all over the island roads completely ignoring road signs, after all......... ]figures are up on last year... Take that into account then an extra 16 crashes isn't so bad.
malebrain
I was only putting the statistics into perspective. I was not stating that the figures were acceptable I was only trying to point out that with 500+ more bikes on last year there are bound to be more accidents. but the ratio of bikes and crashes could have been a lot higher
