scarbunny
85% were manx, must have been the sun or something in the water. Doesn’t really surprise me, but there is no comparison between TT and normal
WTF
85% were manx, must have been the sun or something in the water. Doesn’t really surprise me, but there is no comparison between TT and normal and arrests means nothing, convictions is what matters.
nipper
I wonder if there were any arrests made down at Bushy's Tent for the heinous offence of "crowd-surfing". I think a few of those baldy middle-aged blokes doing a bit of pogo-ing to some punk rock (or was it Ska?) should have been arrested and birched too. I do agree that a gentle toe-tap and occasional nod of the head to the music is acceptable though.

loaf
85% were manx, must have been the sun or something in the water. Less paperwork to arrest locals, I guess.

Terminal
I don't get this. Please elucidate. Were you arrested for your speeding offence or just spanked by the Copper?
thebees
Stands to reason really, there were loads and loads of policemen walking about the place looking for people involved in criminal acts, be they, making a noise, drinking in a 'no drinking' zone, doing a burn out on the prom, thank goodness the police were there.
