Miss Roo
Ramsey eh? What a shit hole. How dare you say such a thing about God's Own Country? Come up here and say it and we'll smash your face in! Incase you didn't notice, I am from Ramsey, and I'll be seeing you outside the Traf later. Fight! Fight! Fight!

jehovah
Good pub the Traf, wonder which good ol' boy got a slap then. The "good ol, boy" has had to be transferred across for treatment. I would suggest this implies more than a "slap" . Tosser From what i hear.... The older guy was pushed after provoking a younger guy and he was simply pushed back, it appears he was just unlucky in how and what he hit his head on when he went down. Oh sorry that's Ok then. I didn't mean to interrupt any "humour" in this thread. Carry on as normal. Yeah good pub, the Traf So, not even a slap then, does that mean I am not a 'tosser' anymore? These are all lies lies lies. Ramsey is a beautiful town, full of well kept buildings, quaint shops and a pretty little harbour, a busy high street and full of friendly locals. Ask alan bell or anne craine.
Terminal
If this had happened in Douglas it wouldn't have made the news.
hboy
If this had happened in Douglas it wouldn't have made the news. Incidents of this nature are extremely rare in Douglas (Unless your in Colours, Strand 58, The Outback, ....... etc, etc, etc)

To be fair, if it wasnt for the fights Ramsey wouldnt be heard of ever, its not like we've got anything to boast of here.
Declan
If this had happened in Douglas it wouldn't have made the news. If this had happened in Douglas there'd be thirty posts saying how bad it was, not arranging to get on the undercard for the rematch.

Although I have no idea who he is, myself and Evil Goblin were joking. Did you really think we were arranging a fight? If he wanted a fight at the Central he certainly wouldn't need to invite anyone there to get one.

Well no, someone appears to have been badly injured with head injuries, under whatever circumstances, necessitating treatment across and you choose to make light of it. It doesn't reflect well on you.
Evil Goblin
Ramsey is actually much more civilised than it was in my young days. I can remember walking up Parliament Street on a Saturday night after chucking out time and between IoM Bank and Tower Street there were 6 separate scraps going on. Lucky if you see one these days.
