Slim
Bah, my current fave of the highwayman in peel is fully booked. Anyone had an ace sunday roast from anywhere else lately?

Mission
My mum does the best Sunday roasts ever. No restuarant can match her, never have done, never will do. Mine are pretty tasty too. I've not perfected beef yet but pork, chicken and lamb are all damn good. Might try out the Hop Garden sometime though, just to see what they're like. Minxie
I've not perfected beef yet Depending on the size, I usually cook beef for about 3 hours at about 150c, turning it up to 200c for the last half hour to crisp it up a bit. I keep it well wrapped up in tin foil for most of the cooking time, and turn it over half way through so that it doesn't dry out too much on the top. (I do like mine well done though) I'm making a roast ham for dinner tomorrow. (We usually have our roast in the evening rather than lunch.) Beckett
The Whitestone in Ballasalla is nice as is The Albert in Port St. Mary.
hollandaise
The Albert?!? Must have changed since I was last in there, then. Favourite Sunday lunch venues ... lunch early at the Glen Helen (pub, not restaurant), then dessert at the Creek in Peel once the 1pm crowd have dissolved somewhat. Yummy. Still, none of that is recent so don't take my word for it!
