Silentbob
Misleading headline, I thought they had shipped everyone with it here to contain it As it is, I call bollox, how can the local DHSS contain an airbourne virus with their current equipment and training. Hermes
Its a bloody cough/cold... why does it need containing, except to prevent vulnerable frail people who would normally cop it from a bad dose of any Influenza A?! If we are prevented from getting immune to a mild form of so-called Swine Flu, then who is going to pay if we get sick with a serious dose we could have otherwise avoided? This whole scare story has given unwarranted power to petty officials and £££ to drug multinationals, who are no doubt revelling in the climate of fear that has been generated among state health advisors. Slim
Its a bloody cough/cold... why does it need containing, except to prevent vulnerable frail people who would normally cop it from a bad dose of any Influenza A?! Nobody would normally cop a bad dose of flu in the summer. They'd get it in the winter, and the vulnerable and frail would receive a vaccine. A vaccine for this strain is imminent, so while the numbers allow, it makes sense to continue to try and contain to allow time for the vaccine to arrive for the most at risk. If we are prevented from getting immune to a mild form of so-called Swine Flu, then who is going to pay if we get sick with a serious dose we could have otherwise avoided? That logic is baffling. You get it now or later, how does that make a difference to your sick time? This whole scare story has given unwarranted power to petty officials and £££ to drug multinationals, who are no doubt revelling in the climate of fear that has been generated among state health advisors. What scare story?
