Rumour has it he was a local exhbitionist. Now every July Thursday lunchtime young males re-enact his last flash when he was savaged by the dog of a 60 year old dog walker who mistook his 'sausage' for a real one.... Vulgarian
Johnny Watterson was supposed to have owned a house in tromode, somewhere near where Beechwood Rise is today. I don't know which house or if it's still there. Perhaps someone else does? Smith's Directory, Braddan, 1883, has: Watterson Mr. John, Upper Tromode (thanks to Frances)
