Shake me up Judy
Some huge losses to the world of music lately. First Nanci Griffith, then Don Everly, and now Charlie Watts. He was a great drummer and I hope the Stones pack it in now. I doubt that Mick and Keith will want to continue without him.

Chinahand
You got me. Though this is my favourite song by Miriam, but maybe not quite as accessable?

Shake me up Judy
Good one Declan. I've heard Barry Humphries on his Radio 2 show play some of Billy Williams' old 78s. From Australia originally and was quite a big name until his early death. Wonder if he ever appeared on stage here ? Declan
He was called the Laughing Antipodean. Wiki says he died of a condition caused by "previous social excess".

Looks like only one copy in Good plus condition (which means just about playable) has turned up on Discogs and that sold for €1500 in 2016. https://www.discogs.com/Universe-Universe/release/4505675 Damn you Declan, that link made me spend 200 quid..! 🤭 Great site, all I need now is a decent turntable.

Personally, I think it's too rushed, lyrically very poor with an average melody. Was expecting a lot more. Not just a remixed Seahorses B side. As for me, it is cool. Even though I'm not a big fan of that type of music. As an alternative I might recommend you Lone Digger from Caravan Palace with their cool clip. Hope you will enjoy it Alternative 2: Last to Fall from Starset

Chinahand
Just a bit of light listening pop from the Chinese Diaspora? No. Subtly and in some places not so subtly it criticises the offence culture the CPC uses to shut down criticism which might hurt the feelings of Chinese Nationalists educated and re-educated to support the CPC's position on anything from Taiwan and Hong Kong to Xin Jiang and whether we can nick name Xi Jinping Winnie the Pooh! Enjoy!
2bees
I'm mostly listening to Christmas carols at the moment, favourites are (in no specific order) Coventry Carol, Oh come oh come Emmanuel and oh come all ye faithful, sung by choirs.
