bellyup
To quote from Mr Aspen Mr Aspden defended the decision, requested by the FSC, to switch funds from Reykjavik to London when problems with the Icelandic economy emerged and insisted there were other banks far more risky than KSF (IoM) in terms of balance sheet exposure. Which ones might these have been? Barclays , Lloyds Nat West ?

You've said yourself that KSF(IoM) was a solvent business until the cash was frozen in KSF(UK) You havent answered the question what 'other' banks were far more risky ? Why the heck did Mr Aspen allow the funds to go to another Icelandic bank if he saw problems emerging? Why did he not ask for some diversification for the funds ? BTW Its a well known fact that people who indulge in mindless name calling aren't getting enough nookie.

Why did he not ask for some diversification for the funds ? You are incredibly annoying. I'm just waiting for all you boys to realise that with HMRC finding out about out little VAT game and slicing out budgets by tens of millions, in about 2 years there's going to be nothing in reserves to meet the promises our government have made you regarding commitments to the DPS. Could take you years and years extra to get your money back soon as we won't have any left to give you.
