KSF Megathread 2

Who is ever going to foolishly put all their money in one basket with an unrealistically high interest rate anywhere ever again?

Quoted for truth.....

Typical football type mentality or is lying a national trait?

How we would all like to move on and draw a line under it all.

Unfortunately for many of the depositors of KSF this is not possible.

They cannot move anywhere as their capital - ie from a house sale was there and without it they cannot go anywhere.

Many are elderly they cannot start again.

The directors are all alright aren't they?

They are not on the street they either managed to get their savings out ( when hundreds couldnt) or they continue to work for the liquidators ( paid for by the depositors) and will continue to do so fro some years to come.

The only people who have suffered are the innocent depositors and they will so for years.

But confidence has gone.

Who is ever going to trust any bank in the IOM ever again?

IT MAY BE A BROKEN RECORD TO YOU BUT ITS BROKEN LIVES - IN SOME CASES DEATH , BROKEN FAMILIES, BROKEN DREAMS, BROKEN HEARTS FOR MANY ORDINARY INNOCENT PEOPLE .

I still do not understand why you blame the Isle of Man for the Icelandic government's niave attitude to playing the financial game.

For me, write it slowly. Why is it the Isle of Man's fault?

And i mean slowly.

It could be because nobody here told him he was being a greedy little tosser putting all his money into what at best used to be a very small building society that then got taken over by a risky Icelandic bank offering high rates for a high risk.

What's football got to do with it??

And if you can point out where I am lying I will gladly review the position?

Gladly

retract the entire lying misquote that it amused you to print .

Oh lighten up....so its the fact that it was amended quote from you that you took umbridge with...not the fact that the comments were truthful....thanks for the vindication...

You are an odd little soul...perhaps if you didnt put yourself up as the poster child for the depositors affected, there may be different attitude towards the situation on here...

More ignorant ranting from two turds.

This is not what your islands inquiry says.

It says the bank was sound.

Boohoo, you gambled and lost.

I bet your a hoot at a casino...

"But no-one told me that by gambling on a game of chance it could lose me my money..."

Guess what after all you hot air BS about the IOM finance sector...It still here, and growing.

I know you feel like your on some kind of one man crusade to highlight the IOM as a corrupt and money grabbing financial black hole.

Grow up. Get over it. Move on.

As Lt Waters states in Tears of the Sun, "Its time to cowboy the f*$k up and be a man."

Edit to add:

So from a 64 page document all you can say is "It says the bank was sound."

Did you also read the parts where it states that "unexpected political decisions" were also to blame. Or did you just read the parts you wanted to see?

Where in that does it say investing more that the guranteed amount is safe

Where does it say it was 100% safe

Where does it say there was a zero risk

you won't find that, had you done what the wise do and spread your bets you would by now have all your money back and not be bleating on here.

BTW deleted all previous posts as I don't see the need to bloat the post.

What a funny little man you are.

Keep trying to convince people that banks in the IOM aren't safe.

Keep trying to make people believe that they should not use banks as a safe and secure place to put money.

You are doing a great job for the IOM.

No one reading your posts will have any trouble in never putting their money anywhere near an IOM bank in the IOM again.

Having said that the IOM has form on collapsed banks hasnt it?

the SIB scandel was nicely brushed under the Manx carpet wasnt it?

The poor sods only getting 29p in the pound 30+ years after.

What a shame there is now the internet and its far harder to do.

It will be far harder to convince people that the IOM is creditable too.

Trust you can build up some new industry .

Get the fishing lines out Manx people!

What an obtuse little idiot you are.

You keep ignoring the fact that he is trying to convince YOU that no bank is 100% safe and you went for a high risk investment. Once again...NO BANK IS 100% SAFE. It doesn't matter if the bank was here, across or on Mars.

But because you feel like you have been personally slighted by the IOM, you are on a one man crusade to tarnish the IOMs name.

Guess what you are the grain of sand shouting at the mountain.

words

I think we told you this before - no-one here has anything against you or all the other depositors. We don't wish you bad, we don't hope you lose your money or suffer any kind of hardship. It's your own style and the way you portray yourself on here that annoyed people and lost you all genuine sympathy that existed.

Not sure who said it earlier, but you're not doing yourself or all the other depositors any favours with your antics.
