A FORMER government minister has been accused of hushing up publicity over the danger of an asbestos-riddled building used as a children's den. It was alleged in court last week that former local government and the environment minister Pamela Crowe vetoed a press release warning parents their children may have played in the disused World War Two building at Jurby. It was claimed she told Jurby School's head teacher the village was already in the spotlight over the DLGE's plans for a prison and she didn't want 'negative press'...
