blue kipper
monkey magic, it's not a pi55 poor joke, it was a genuine quote from the 12 o'clock news on Weds the 16th Feb. If I was going to post that 'joke' on the forum, I would do it somewhere where I would acknowledge that I had posted it - I certainly wouldn't shift the 'blame' on a radio station which I enjoy listening to (which in case you haven't guessed, that's why I was listening yesterday.' The fact is that most radio newsreaders are incompetemt buffoons.
monkey_magic
monkey magic, it's not a pi55 poor joke, it was a genuine quote from the 12 o'clock news on Weds the 16th Feb. So, the 3fm newsreader asked "Could this have anything to do with the closure of PVC Windows?" did he? And it most certainly is a pis5 poor joke. If I was going to post that 'joke' on the forum, I would do it somewhere where I would acknowledge that I had posted it - I certainly wouldn't shift the 'blame' on a radio station which I enjoy listening to (which in case you haven't guessed, that's why I was listening yesterday.' <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh. blue kipper
Well as it was a female newsreader, I doubt it. I think I got my wires a bit crossed though I'm sorry - yes it was a poor joke (I'm sorry!) but the thing about glaziers was real.
Grumble
The fact is that most radio newsreaders are incompetemt buffoons. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, but at least they can spell, even if their brain to mouth wires sometimes get crossed. Ariane and Amy at 3FM do a bloody good job!
