The tradition dates back to the 1980s in America, and took place on 28 September or the last day of the school year. Pupils are encouraged to ask their teachers ridiculous questions. Now British children are to get the same opportunity.

 

Suggestions that don't mention local politics would be welcome.

Why are speed limits still in MPH when the metric system of metres and kilometres has been taught in schools since 1970's ?

 

What does 50MPH mean to a person under 40?
