bluemonday
Far better than the mess that was there before. Some artwork, a path, a couple of places to sit and some greenery. A good example of how to deal with an eyesore. Douglas Corpy take note.
Frances
Far better than the mess that was there before. I thought it was just the precursor to restoring the banks of the Sulby to nature - the few active shops in Parliament street would easily fit into a couple of blocks on the other side of the road. %age
That artwork is fantastic. I do work in Ramsey and watched it progress over the weeks. The blue is only the base coat, but certainly looked pretty good at that stage. I'll leave it for a Ramsey forum member to post the finished result. Perhaps mission along the road?? SunnyNorth
Its really lovely to have somewhere to sit in town now but a shame it won't be there when they get round to building the new hotel on the site.
Brian Damage
They should use the money to buy Ramsey a sense of fucking humour.
Albert Tatlock
£8 million would buy a shit load of camoflauge netting and paint. We could net/paint Ramsey, and just...well...er...forget about it.

Roger Smelly
Why don't they concrete a few statues into the pavement in the street to make it look busy ? Ramsey is a Sh*t pit full of meaning less shops, selling dated junk. Like everything the internet is killing most towns and cities all over the uk so a bit of turf and a few benches are all they can afford? Token gesture lol
