Far better than the mess that was there before.

Some artwork, a path, a couple of places to sit and some greenery.

A good example of how to deal with an eyesore.

I thought it was just the precursor to restoring the banks of the Sulby to nature - the few active shops in Parliament street would easily fit into a couple of blocks on the other side of the road.

That artwork is fantastic. I do work in Ramsey and watched it progress over the weeks. The blue is only the base coat, but certainly looked pretty good at that stage.

I'll leave it for a Ramsey forum member to post the finished result. Perhaps mission along the road??

Why don't they concrete a few statues into the pavement in the street to make it look busy ?

 

Ramsey is a Sh*t pit full of meaning less shops, selling dated junk.

 

Like everything the internet is killing most towns and cities all over the uk so a bit of turf and a few benches are all they can afford?
