Douglas is now a city. Doesn't it deserve a proper bus station, with an indoor waiting area, and public toilets?

It could even house a shop, for snacks, newspapers (if they ever arrive on the Island), and knick-knacks. Build a car park on top of it, and it might even pay something towards its upkeep.

Too simple, it also need a restaurant, cinema, bowling alley, swimming pool and hotel. Why else has it taken so long to get the site developed?

Duke street is an active site again.  What’s the issue?

If you say so. Even if it’s an ‘active site’ it’s only active as long as there is funding …………. and for how long the funding will last. Will suppliers and those providing services play ball - or is it a case of cash up front? Will the development actually get completed, and both tenanted, that’s another matter?

In the week when nearly every builder on the island is off?  Shocker that 🙄

Sorry, i thought they returned on the 2nd January? Are they adopting the Scottish Bank Holiday or celebrating Illiam Dhone Day?

Have they rescued sorry paid for the remaining steel that was kept in the wharehouse of a contractor owed a tidy sum ? The mouthpiece behind it Gareth ??? (Possibly his name but I am pleased to have forgotten) is an untrustworthy gobshite- I seriously doubt it will be finished by the current developer
