Chinahand
I think this is Nuts! The man hasn't done anything yet - sure he's hoped for a better world, but so does Jessica Simpson. Noble prizes should be awarded for tangeable results not aspirations.
Princess Incognito
I agree, it is too early to see whether his early efforts will result in any great achievements. To pinch the words of another famous American, he "has a dream", but so far that is all. PI
Albert Tatlock
The Nobel prizes have become far too political in recent years IMO. Nobel will no doubt be exploding in his grave.

Terse
In a world ravaged by war and conflict, terrorism and hate, Mr. Obama stood up to be counted. He made the decision to continue the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. To keep the troops out there on the battlefield. Sadly, since his inauguration 329 U.S Soldiers have lost their lives, alongside United Nations comrades, and many more foreign civilians and enemies. Sorry, drifted a bit there. Anyway, the winner of the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize is .......
Albert Tatlock
"The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 is to be awarded to President Barack Obama..." This will no doubt be followed by the U.S. buying and importing a load of Fjords and Haddock.
Declan
I've had a tip off from the Academy that I'm next year's Noble Laureate in the basis that I'm not George Bush either.

Matt Bawden
And the 2010 winner is.............................posthumously Adolf Hitler "Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world's attention and given its people hope for a better future," the Norwegian committee said in a statement. Mintchip
I think he should give it back. You're right, he hasn't done anything yet and the awards were closed two weeks after he took office. His "greatness" seems to be more attributed to his skin color (colour, sorry) than anything else. I can't wait to watch Saturday Night Live tonight to see the skit they do on this subject.
