Bombay Bad Boy
link The titanic machine may possibly create or discover previously unimagined scientific phenomena, or "unknown unknowns" - for instance an extra dimension.Out of this door might come something, or we might send something through it
Albert Tatlock
All possible. But I suspect up to now we sent something forward, otherwise we would have reaped the consequences already. Until tomorrow...when they send something back that is...

bluemonday
My moneys on Daleks and Cybermen who will have a massive battle and we'll all be saved by Billie Piper who will end up in an alternative version of Norway. In a strange twist of fate, the last surviving Dalek will initiate an emergency temporal shift accidentally taking Atholl Steet with him. The Manx Financial sector ends up in the middle of the Battle of Sky Hill where the Vikings and Manx unite and slaughter every single banker thus changing the future forever. But after it's all over no one will have noticed the first of the Emissaries of the Feltiverse have snuck in when no one was looking........... Probably. MilitantDogOwner
Sounds a lot like Stephen King's The Mist. Good book, reasonable film (why didn't he hear the tanks and helicopters sooner?).
