Quite surprised, I thought dead space ruled but it seemed to sell fek all and it looked like it'd be a casualty of the EA studio axing. Glad to see it's coming back. They need to push Deadspace 1 on Games On Demand now in anticipation of the sequel, boost those sales. Best game nobody played, imho, the 360's metroid and better than Batman in that stylee. scarbunny Posted December 9, 2009 Share Posted December 9, 2009 From what I have read Isaac will be in a "puppet master" type role guiding a new player character, if this is the case he could manifest in a similar way to his wife. Although its hard to say. Glad this is getting a sequel but I think it should be left as a single player game, it adds to the sense of isolation, although there are hints at multi-player must notably a job listing wanting experience of creating MP levels. I'm actually playing through this again at the moment, it still has the ability to make me jump ( specially playing through headphones ). I know quiet a few friends who bought and loved the game... Anyways more details have emerged on the sequel : http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/huge-dea...-reveal-spilled spaceship replaced by space-station witnessing the actual outbreak of the necromorph infection from the very beginning ( is Isaac now the carrier of the virus? ) New weapons and enemies ( naked, featureless babies!!! ) competitive multiplayer? ( maybe a Deadspace take on the left 4 dead versus mode? ) looking even better than the first! excitement levels now reaching critical mass!
