In my opinion no accurate figures will ever be released. By the time you add all the costs to the taxpayer of heavy drinking including the necessity to have the police and medical staff on standby all night mainly due to alcohol problems as well as the long term affects such as sclerosis of the liver and psychological problems, court appearances, probation services, social workers, victims of anti-social behaviour, violence, it goes on and on, the cost will considerably outweigh the revenue in taxes and duties, the only winners are the publicans, breweries and distilleries.

It's ok in Rog's new ideal UK, the end of the health agreement will put an end to us crippling the NHS so they can now afford it

LOL! :D

Unless and until you pay full UK taxes and actually become part of the United Kingdom WE DON'T WANT YOU!

Don’t you get it yet?
