Whimsy
Still on. The questioning needs to be a lot more forensic and challenging. They let him waffle en route to non-answers.

bluemonday
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8466828.stm It was apparent that the US "meant business" on Iraq by the summer of 2002, Mr Hoon told the inquiry, as the 9/11 attacks had totally changed US thinking about security risks. Or as captioned underneath on the live TV coverage 'UK underestimated the impact of 9/11 on the US' Must be one of the greatest quotes so far. Thousands of people get killed in New York by two planes at a time when the US is run by a right wing christian gung ho cowboy whose strong point is not erudition. WTF did the UK expect? Harsh language and a leaflet campaign?
gazza
To be honest its just a shambles and is only on to make it look good for the public. Half of the real answers will never be allowed to be said on tv or even with half of the people in the room. Thinks its called the secrets act . Utter tosh just to make it look like there trying to do something to keep the public happy
