WTF Posted February 3, 2010 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Yep, if you know the driver is over the limit and you do nothing to stop it, you're just as culpable more a case of giving a drunken person your car keys and saying drive me home, it appears it was his car. i think if it had been her car and she was the key holder he wouldn't have been convicted, but he definitely 'aided' the situation. If you give your keys to someone over the limit you must accept the consequences of the outcome. Sounds a very sensible decision to me - the law is not always an ass.
