Amadeus Posted March 2, 2010 Share Posted March 2, 2010 First, the Heimatland declared ANPR, the automatic number plate recognition cameras so dearly loved by the UK fuzz, as going a step too far in terms of privacy laws - now our highest judges have done good again: German High Court Limits Phone and E-Mail Data Storage Germany's highest court has rejected a controversial law requiring data on telephone calls and e-mail traffic to be stored for six months for possible use by law enforcement. Data stored so far must be deleted immediately, and strict controls must be put in place before the law can come into force again. Oh, the la..a..nd of the freeeeeee, and the home of the ....
