My preference would be to imitate that man in Co.Cavan who went around using fluorescent spray paint to paint around all the potholes. A National Pothole Action Day maybe? If we painted them in bright colours not only would it be artistic and a tourist attraction but could well be justified on OH&S grounds as it would identify to DoT employees the danger spots where they might trip when they have hot mugs of tea in their hands.
