Yes the band will be here and performing-however Ottakers have been let down by the publishers of Hugh Cornwell's auto-biog A Multitude of Sins as the shipment promised for the booksigning at Ottakers tomorrow 3 March at 3pm-have not materialised. Sadly the book signing has been cancelled. His itinerary for the day has now been rescheduled and soundcheck brought forward. However I am fully aware some genuine fans had hoped to meet and greet etc with the Man in Black. Triskel will make this gesture to the fans and offer 20 free tickets to the first 20 fans who take a genuine piece of Stranglers memorabilia (or indeed Hugh solo stuff) in whatever form. So if you have a faded early "Feline" shirt handy or a copy of "Longtailtus Norvegicus" (Manx fans will know that poor joke!) on 8 track or cassette then bring it along and secure a ticket-Ottakers will sell the remaining shop copies of "Multitude...." at a discount also as a gesture. Doors open 8pm Shedmen hit the stage at 8.30pm I dont have any tickets left so you will only get them at The Traf,Black & Blue or The Venue but will be limited on the door. Be assured Hugh will make up for this shortfall, well and truly outside our control-apologies to anyone who has taken time off but you will get a good sight of him tomorrow night!
