Declan
Are you suggesting that for some reason C&E couldn't conduct an impartial investigation or are you trying to bluff your way out of an error?
When Skies Are Grey
Also as far as I am aware the Inland Revenue is not responsible for VAT affairs - VAT is dealt with by HM Customs and Excise.
manxman8180
Correct. IR have no jurisdiction over VAT nor the IoM and responsibility for such affairs is vested solely with C&E via the Common Purse Agreement.

Slim
An investigation, true or not, it means nothing. I could be investigated for accusations of having 40 naked japanese virgins shackled in my basement for my carnal pleasure. Being investigated for it (sadly in my case) doesn't make it true. It would be good for one of you gossiping gets get wrongly accused of something one of these days, and know what it feels like to convicted by a mob. Fatty Fatty Toad Boy
The Inland Revenue and HM Customs and Excise aremerging in the UK (as of April 2005) to become HM Revenue and Customs. Not sure how this affects the Island though.
