Silentbob Posted May 1, 2010 Share Posted May 1, 2010 After I upgraded to Manx Telecom ADSL2+ I found that CSS was unusable (massive pings, timeouts). I have since bought BFBC2 after a full PC rebuild and again, timeouts even logging in to steam an unable to connect to even UK servers. AV off. Router fully open as a test (closed up again, fu script kiddies) Still no joy. Any ideas, or are MT just being cocks? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ans Posted May 1, 2010 Share Posted May 1, 2010 What was your speed before? What router do you have and is it definitely ADSL2+ compatible? Have you tried disconnecting your internal wiring (if possible) and connecting to the first socket coming into the house? If you're planning on gaming on it, you should contact them anyway and ask them to shift you to a non interleaving profile. That more than halves your ping.
