Right chaps, don't particularly want to do this, but I could do with getting on top of my finances. I'm not spending as much time on the car as I'd like so it makes no sense it keeping it at the moment.

 

What's included is:

1971 Mk1 Escort - 2 door 1.1 base model part way through restoration. Comes with most parts to replace, just needs front panel, flitch panel & wings.

Complete 1600cc Cross Flow engine on 4 speed box

1660 Cross Flow, rally spec set up to take 5 speed box

Ashley Exhaust & Manifold

Twin 45 carbs (in need of clean & service)

2.0 Zetec engine

2.8i Bilstein Struts with vented discs

Wilwood 4 pot calipers (new)

Bias pedal box (new)

Panhard Kit (new)

5 linked rear axle casing with links and panhard

3 linked rear axle casing

TransX LSD on 4.4 ratio (I think, could be 4.1, sought after anyways)

4 Spoke Revolutions

Single piece RS2000 prop

Type 9 5sp box

2 x Type 2 4sp boxes

Alloy RS2000 bellhousing

Single leaf springs with Poly Bushes to suit

2" lowering blocks

Grp 4 steering coupling

LEDA struts (No good, but comes with steering arms, large roller top mounts and springs)

Will throw in any other parts that I come across too.

 

Rally engine spec is:

 

1600 cross flow block, 1300 pistons, piper 285/2 cam, stage 3 head, lightweight flywheel, AP uprated clutch to take pinto box, high pressure oil pump, bosch dizzy (non vac type), uprated billet front pulley, done less than 3000 miles since rebuild. Was told it ran a reliable 120+bhp on 45's which I've no reason to doubt.

 

The vast majority of the underseal has been stripped off the bottom of the car ready for work to be carried out (nightmare job). Needs 1 rear arch lip replacing (supplied),

1 strut top doing (supplied), small patch to wheel-well, patching to 1 sill.

 

Comes with all glass, interior, doors bonnet and boot. Very little needs to be purchased to get this finished. I reckon someone with a bit of bodywork experience could have the body done within a week easily.

 

 

Price wise I'm after £2800 firm. Van and trailer will be needed to collect.
