Moral Victory For The Iroquois Nation.

UK bureaucrats have managed to ruin the Lacrosse World Cup being held in Manchester by refusing to issue visas to one of the pre-tournament favourites. The Iroquois Nation are not only one of the best teams in the world, they also helped to invent the game. Iroquois nationals have been traveling on their own passports since 1923, but somehow that doesn't sit right with the way to US and UK like to see the world. The excuse the bureaucrats are giving is that Iroquois passports don't meet security standards brought in after 9/11. ironically, the British were more than prepared to acknowledge the Iroquois Confederacy when drawing up treaties to secure Iroquois support in eighteenth century colonial wars against the French, and later, against Washington's Continental Army. As the British were losing the American War of Independence in 1879 Washington ordered the 'Sullivan Campaign' - one the the major offensives during that war. It was a campaign of ethnic cleansing that all but destroyed the Iroquois Confederacy, and from which they are still recovering. The Lacrosse World Cup is the iroquois' one chance every four years to make their mark, having finished fourth in the last three world cups ... and yet the BBC say their non-involvement 'won't overshadow the tournament'.

So let's get this right, the 2 nations that STOLE the land that rightfully belonged to these people and who have never been a threat to any other nation either this century or the last are being told thier passpoerts are not acceptable because they being a peaceful nation are a security threat to all the violent nations.

As I understand it, the Iroquois passport will not be accepted as entry back into the US and therefore the UK can not give out visas to visit. This seems reasonable. what if the visitors were Pakistanis, there would be uproar in the redtops; "Immigrants allowed in with no return ticket" type of stuff. Get a grip, ok they invented the game but they only come fourth in the last three tournaments, kind of like the inventors of football really. At least with them out of the country England/UK might come fourth instead.
