Amadeus
Rogue Trader Jérôme Kerviel will need 177,000 years to repay €5 billion Jérôme Kerviel, the rogue French trader sentenced to three years in jail yesterday for losing the bank he worked for €5 billion (£4.4 billion), has been ordered to repay the full amount despite calculations that it would take him more than 177,000 years to do so. He'd better get a part time job as well!
gazza
I guess its one way for them to stop him trying to profitt from it from the book. but im sure that he could set up a comapany with directors etc, and him emplyed. his wages would be, free home to live in car food etc, u get the point, and just pay him say 200 euro a week to spend as he sees fit. no dowt there will be a way around it. P.K.
Strange. This newspaper reported the losses as being $7 billion. One of them is clearly wrong. I'll bet it's The Torygraph as well, after all, who could possibly take that publication seriously? ETA - didn't I originally put this up in the Jokes section?
