Snaipyr
Despite what was said on the letters page of the Examiner? about big fare increases, I have just booked a trip away in April for a car, 2 adults and 2 children (13 and 11yr old) return for £243.00. Seemed reasonable in comparison to flights and car hire. That fare was less than it was about 2 months ago when I looked at possibly doing an Easter break, so as far as I can see the IOMSP have not bumped up their passenger fares to cover the Mezaron situation. Anybody else had recent experience of IOMSP fare reductions/rises? Just booked return to Heysham in April for campervan and 2 people (Premium lounge) for £270. Quite happy with that. Also booked CalMac, return Oban to Mull in April (camper and 2 people) - £123.60 (non-premium) for a 46 minute each way journey. Steam Packet seems quite reasonable if comparing distances. ManxBaz
Looks like Mezeron are giving it a miss today, the BMC has just arrived in Douglas with a good load of trailers including some Stobarts. Kurkse is still in Seaforth, Kalana hasn't yet reached the Bar Light after sailing from Douglas early yesterday afternoon.
ManxBaz
Just had word, the Kurkse has just left her berth and entered the lock in Liverpool.

The TT Escape deal I have just booked was fine with me.
manxman8180
Just had word, the Kurkse has just left her berth and entered the lock in Liverpool. Hmmm does ManxBaz have 'someone' on the bridge of Manannan with a pair of Binoculars?
ManxBaz
No, just log on to shipais.com and you can see what's happening. At the moment you will see both Kurkse and Kalana heading west along the North Wales coast. Kalana got as far as the mouth of the Mersey then turned round. ManxBaz
I was told earlier tonight that the Silver River is due to go to dry dock, so maybe the I.P. Is filling in for her?
Max1
As to where I myself have been, as I've said I work in the SHIPping industry, you know the big metal things that go to SEA. Go on have a guess! Isle of Man S.P.Co
