Amadeus
North Korea has fired artillery shells across its western maritime border, prompting return fire from South Korea, officials say. Dozens of the shells landed on a South Korean island, from which plumes of smoke are rising. At least four soldiers are said to have been hurt. South Korea has issued its highest non-wartime alert in response. Correspondents say this is one of the most serious incidents between the two since the Korean War in the 1950s. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-11818005 Rooms in my bunker have just gone up in price again. P.K.
By now both these sides are expert at brinkmanship, it's been a way of life for probably a bit too long. But then, if there's to be a Third World War then IMHO the Third World is definitely the place to hold it. These days artillery is so accurate that their computers can predict which South Korean would get hit. Of course, they could have just put all the names in a hat...
