Canon Ef-S 17-55Mm F2.8 Is Usm Lens

Canon EF-S 17-55mm F2.8 IS USM lens.

This lens is fantastic and there is currently no such thing sadly as a full frame match for it in canon's lineup, only lesser quality third party alternatives if you want the same sort of flexibility.

It is commonly regarded as being the "best" EF-S lens available (best walkabout lens for 'crop sensor'/non full frame cameras) due to the fantastic combination of features it gives such as a great 'walkabout' range similar to the kit lens, but with super sharp optics as used in L lenses, constant F2.8 aperture, Image Stabiliser, and USM fast autofocus.

As with almost all used ones, there are a few minor specks of dust inside the front element (nothing bad or that would affect your images - dust is inevitable without L series sealing), and the zoom control has loosened somewhat as all of these lenses do with use. In many cases this results in 'zoom creep' with the included lens hood attached, but that does not happen with my copy of the lens, so it is a lot better than many used ones you will find and is perfectly normal (read reviews of the lens if in doubt about this).

I don't want to sell this lens but unfortunately it will not be possible for me to use it once I change my camera so very reluctantly it has to go.

These are listed as £1210 on Canon's site:
